Getting back into the swing of things!
Last time I touched Unreal it was v4, so after reading up on the changes from v4 to v5 and diving into the editor I started building and ended up working on a classic 8-shape design that I thought could fit very well in a Counterstrike-type game.
And so I defined the blockout more, perhaps dedicating two afternoons to it before making the overview.
In the overview I worked on identifying the loops.

Writing
As a lover of reading, watching movies and creating content of course I dabble in novel/ book writing as well.
Having been inspired by series such as Peaky Blinders, Penny Dreadful and Midnight Mass I had to get some of my own ideas down on a page and not after long it's become a project I dive into every now and then when the itch to write on it arrives :-)
Another thing I am doing, and much more consistently out of the above, is DM for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
The beautiful thing with being a DM is facilitating a fun experience for players whose characters you can explore and develop together. It reminds me a lot of level design.
It's creative teamwork at its finest with less pressure some sort of deadline, unless DM-ing a one-shot.
Artwork
Having an abundance of creativity and having drawn all my life I often find myself returning to pen and paper when I want to create.
Not long ago I found out that Adobe Sketchbook is not only a free drawing program but also simple and intuitive and now I draw much more digitally than with analog tools.
The perfect day to draw is a rainy afternoon/ evening with a cup of tea and a tv series on one screen with the drawing program on the other!
BG3 fanart of Minthara
Much like everyone else right now Baldur's Gate 3 has imprisoned my heart and I was very inspired to draw a couple of my favourite characters.
As a fan of all things occult and mystical I also drew inspiration from tarot cards, trying to match each BG3 character with one, and shown here are 2 out of multiple artworks I did of them.
It's not for everyone but I have found out that I have the most fun with a limited colorscheme, and taking inspiration from the clean lines in tattoo designs for my own drawing style.
